Bijanka Bacic

Bijanka Bacic (b. 1997) is an Australian artist currently residing in London. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the National Art School in Australia in 2018 and subsequently completed her MA in Painting from the Royal College of Arts, UK, in 2023. Solo exhibitions include A Hundred Hues, Long Story Short, New York City (2024); We are Defending Their Illusion, König Galerie, Milan (2023); CICA Museum, South Korea (2023); The Poets are Dancing, M2 Gallery (2019). Group exhibitions include Art Cologne, König Galerie, Cologne (2023); ANNIHILATION, OHSH Projects, London (2023); I Feel Everything All at Once, Natasha Arselan Gallery, London (2022); Nos Aimes Les Betes, Les Ateliers de la Cote, Switzerland (2021); Re-Representation, Gaffa Gallery, Sydney (2020). Bijanka has been recognised as a finalist in various art prizes and awards, such as the Fish Ghost Award, VAO Uk and International Emerging Award, Cambridge Studio Gallery Portrait Prize and Clifton Art Prize.
